What to Expect
A calm, unhurried visit from start to finish.
Each family, pet and story is unique. During your in-home visit, Dr. Judy Velyvis will gently guide you through every step so you can remain focused on being present with your companion.

Arrival & quiet conversation
On arrival, we take a few moments to meet your pet, review any questions, and confirm that the timing and setting feel right for your family.

Gentle sedation
A light sedative is given first so your pet can gradually relax into a deep, comfortable sleep in their favourite spot – a cherished blanket, couch or bed.

Peaceful goodbye
When you feel ready, the final medication is administered calmly and quietly. You are welcome to stay close, speak softly and hold your pet for as long as you need.
Wherever you are on this journey, you will be met with patience, respect and space to move at your own pace. There is no “right way” to say goodbye – only what feels right for you and your beloved companion.
If you choose cremation or other aftercare, options can be discussed gently during or after the visit so that nothing feels rushed.
